Call for Abstracts and Papers

Offered papers on topics related to the theme of the conference will be considered for presentation. Enquiries regarding abstracts or papers should be addressed to Miss Sylvia Lee at the e-mail address asb1@afcd.gov.hk.

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of about 150 words for consideration before 31 December 2004. Acceptance of abstracts for oral or poster presentation will be notified by 31 January 2005, with instructions on paper / poster format and preparation. Selected authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full papers by 30 April 2005 for inclusion in a book to be published after the Conference.

Abstracts / papers must be submitted to the Conference Secretariat via e-mail asb1@afcd.gov.hk unless for exceptional circumstances and with prior agreement. The abstracts and papers should give the title; name(s) of author(s); address(es); and e-mail address of the corresponding author. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.

Outstanding Young Scientist Award

An Outstanding Young Scientist Award will be given to a young scientist (below 30 years old by 21 June 2005) who presents the best oral paper during the Conference. A panel of judges will be organized by the Organizing Committee to select the best presenter.
